DAVID TYSON


David Tyson wrote a string of pop hits throughout the 80s and 90s, many of which he also produced, including cuts by Celine Dion, Joe Cocker, the Pointer Sisters, Donna Summer, Hall & Oates, America, Meatloaf, Anne Murray, Jude Cole, Tina Arena, as well as the #1 Hot 100 international smash and Grammy winner "Black Velvet" by Alannah Myles.
David also wrote the country hits "Heaven Help My Heart" and "Love's Funny That Way" for Wynonna; "Birmingham" for Melodie Crittenden; Terri Clark's "Unsung Hero"; and "Dark Horse" by Mila Mason which was originally a very big pop hit David produced for Amanda Marshall. David produced Amanda's other hits off her Diamond-selling debut album in Canada (one million units) - including her pop original of "Birmingham".

David is a 3-time Juno Award Winner (twice as Songwriter of the Year, and also as Producer of the Year), an 8-time Juno Nominee, a 3-time SOCAN Classics recipient, and a multiple ASCAP Award winner.
