ALLISON KAPLAN

Allison Kaplan is an LA native songwriter, singer, and multi-instrumentalist. She grew up in the San Fernando Valley as a surfer and skater, but along the way she was also becoming a classically trained pianist who started playing at the age of 5.

As a teenager exposed to rock and pop music, these influences eventually led to teaching herself to play the guitar and several other instruments. Allison gained an early introduction to songwriting and it quickly became an obsession which garnered her first record deal at 15. The deal allowed her to experiment in the studio, which laid the foundation for her production skills.

Her songwriting approach has evolved into a love for writing in multiple genres. She has become a respected vocalist and session musician playing and singing on numerous major label releases. She has written and recorded with Marshall Altman (Natasha Bedingfield, Matt Nathanson), Vakseen (Flo Rida), and Angelo Petraglia (Kings of Leon) among others.
