ole Acquires Parallel Music Publishing Catalog
TORONTO, ON - February 19, 2019, ole, one of the world’s premier music and entertainment companies, is pleased to announce that it has concluded an exclusive worldwide deal with Parallel Music Publishing, acquiring 100% of Parallel’s catalog of more than 6,500 songs. As part of the deal, ole also adds 6 active songwriters to its roster, as well as an exciting pipeline of singles expected to hit the charts in 2019.
In addition to the deal, Parallel Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Tim Hunze, joins ole in the role of Senior Director of Creative. Working out of its Nashville office, Hunze will be responsible for working with ole’s roster of songwriters and artists. Hunze brings extensive experience in music publishing and recorded music; under Hunze’s management, Parallel songwriters were responsible for five #1 hits.
