ole MusicBox is pleased to announce that it has concluded the acquisition of the assets of Auracle Music, Inc., a New York-based production music company. John Sands, who co-founded and built the library with Francis Galluccio, will continue to operate from the same location and will join the ole MusicBox team as VP Music Licensing.

The deal brings with it ownership of over 3000 unique tracks on nearly 300 CDs from the Auracle library, the Auracle brand and Web portals as well as a continuing relationship with key client, IMG Media (the production arm of IMG, the global sports, fashion and media company).

Auracle delivers cutting-edge music for all media while also creating custom music and main title themes. Among the many productions in which music from Auracle's library has been featured are such top-rated shows as The Real Housewives of New Jersey (Bravo), Super Bowl's Greatest Commercials (CBS), Shahs of Sunset (Bravo), World's Strongest Man (ESPN), A&E's Biography series and hundreds of sports broadcasts on networks CBS, NBC, FOX, ABC, NBC Sports Network, FOX Sports Net, and internationally.

Says John Sands, new ole MusicBox VP Music Licensing and former Auracle President, "I am excited about Auracle finding a new home with ole MusicBox and look forward to continuing to manage and grow the Auracle and MusicBox brands. I have a lot of respect for ole's growing presence in the PML industry and look forward to a successful future as part of their team."

ole CEO Robert Ott states, "We're very pleased to welcome an executive of John Sand's caliber to the ole MusicBox team. John's entrepreneurial talent is evident in the success he has built with Auracle and we look forward to his contributions. We also look forward to a continued positive relationship with IMG and to delivering great service for them."

This move is a continuation of ole's rapid expansion into the PML space and the overall acquisitions focus of the mainstream company. Ott relates, "ole remains on an aggressive acquisitions path and we're well capitalized to pursue even large targets that make strategic sense."
