Studio B Productions Signs Worldwide Admin Deal with ole

TORONTO: Vancouver's Studio B Productions Inc., a production subsidiary of DHX Media Ltd. and a leader in the field of kids’ entertainment, has signed a multi-year worldwide television music royalty administration agreement with ole, Canada's largest independent music publisher.

Under the terms of the deal, ole will employ its administrative global expertise to monitor and collect the TV music publishing and audio-visual re-transmission royalties of Studio B Productions' numerous current properties broadcast in over 100 territories around the world, as well as its future productions.

Studio B’s current properties include George of the Jungle® airing on Cartoon Network U.S. and TELETOON; Ricky Sprocket - Showbiz Boy, broadcast in over 40 countries worldwide on TELETOON and Nickelodeon Networks ; Being Ian; The Amazing Adrenalini Brothers!, Class of the Titans; Something Else, Yvon of the Yukon®; Yakkity Yak and D'Myna Leagues®.

Founded in 1988 by Chris Bartleman and Blair Peters, Studio B has amassed a library of over 400 half-hour episodes of children's programming and will launch two new series in 2008: Kit vs. Kat, an original series with YTV and Jetix Europe and Martha Speaks, a co-production with WGBH Boston.
